{chorus: let us break our bonds assunder}
  anne babson

“ Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” – Psalm 2:3

He shouted “hey, baby” again at me as I walked by,
And that was when I picked the pipe up and hit him.

She threatened me again with divorce,
And so I called her a fat, ugly hippo.

He called me into his office yet again for a lecture.
I told him and the rest of the directors where to go.

They took me out to lunch to discuss, as friends, my “issues.”
I got up after salad and poured the carafe of red on their heads.

Every time I see her she tries to make me feel guilty.
That’s why I stopped calling my mother last year.

They whipped me and stabbed me.
That was when I forgave them.
