ANGELA JANE FOUNTAS is a freelance writer and the founder of Writehabit.org, a website in support of new and emerging writers. Her work has recently appeared in DIAGRAM, Pindeldyboz, and Uncapped. Her story "Lydia" was nominated for a 2004 Pushcart Prize. She is working on a short story collection and a nonfiction anthology titled The New Wave of First-Generation Women, due out fall 2005 from Seal Press.
